Upper limb solutions - introducing the new mHand Adapt and Skeo-Up Daily Assist.

We are often talking about the myoelectric prosthesis, but what about the body-powered options available? Are these still relevant today? We will be joined by colleagues to discuss the components available and how to get the most from them.

To realise the user’s potential with using an upper limb prosthesis, training is the key to success. The occupational therapist will work with you to improve your functionality in tasks of daily life. We will be joined by an experienced occupational therapist sharing her experience and providing tips on getting the most out of a training session.

A prosthesis can take many forms to suit the requirements of the task. The Skeo Up Daily Assist is a passive functional device used to assist in wet areas for personal hygiene. It is rolled on like a liner and can assist in holding toothbrushes or razors for these daily tasks. During this webinar we will hear from an engineer and user of the Skeo Up Daily Assist, and they will be able to share their experience.
